DMCA and rights notices

Buffstreams keeps no video on its servers; it only links to players hosted elsewhere. A rights owner can ask us to take a link down.

What to include

Send your notice through the contact form with "Rights notice" in the subject. Please include:

• who you are, which company or body you represent, and an email address for our reply;
• the event or programme you hold the rights to;
• the full address of each Buffstreams page that links to it, for example a game page under buffstreams.ch/event/;
• your good-faith statement that neither the owner, nor its agent, nor the law has allowed this use;
• a declaration that the notice is accurate and that you own the rights or may act for the owner, signed by typing your name.

What happens next

When a notice is complete, we take the named links off the page and reply to the address you gave. If something is missing, we write back to ask for it. Because the video itself is hosted elsewhere, it is worth writing to the website that runs the player as well.
