Nine regular-season NFL games are being played outside the United States in 2026, and six of them are still to come. Three Sundays in a row in October have a game in Europe, two more follow in November, and the run ends with a Sunday night game in Mexico City on November 22. Here is when and where each one is, with the kickoff on US and local clocks, and a few things worth knowing before you plan a 9:30 AM start.
The six games still to play
All times come from the league schedule as listed by ESPN. Every European game starts at 9:30 AM ET, so on the Pacific coast it is 6:30 in the morning.
| Date | Game | Venue | ET | Local time | US TV |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sun Oct 11 | Eagles at Jaguars | Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London | 9:30 AM | 2:30 PM | NFL Network |
| Sun Oct 18 | Texans at Jaguars | Wembley Stadium, London | 9:30 AM | 2:30 PM | NFL Network |
| Sun Oct 25 | Steelers at Saints | Stade de France, Saint-Denis | 9:30 AM | 2:30 PM | NFL Network |
| Sun Nov 8 | Bengals at Falcons | Santiago Bernabéu, Madrid | 9:30 AM | 3:30 PM | NFL Network |
| Sun Nov 15 | Patriots at Lions | FC Bayern Munich Stadium, Munich | 9:30 AM | 3:30 PM | Fox |
| Sun Nov 22 | Vikings at 49ers | Estadio Banorte, Mexico City | 8:20 PM | 7:20 PM | NBC |
The team listed second is the home team, even though nobody is playing in their own stadium. That matters for the uniforms, the sideline and the coin toss, and for the standings it is just another home game.
The three already played
The season went abroad in Week 1. On Thursday, September 10 (US time), San Francisco won 27-7 over the Rams at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, a game that started at 8:35 PM ET and was shown on Netflix. On September 27, Baltimore edged Dallas 34-31 in the Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro, in the 4:25 PM ET Sunday slot. The first London game was on October 4 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where the Colts beat the Commanders 30-13 with Washington as the home team.
London: two Jacksonville home games in eight days
Jacksonville is the home team for both of the remaining London games, at two different grounds. The Eagles come first, at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on October 11, and the Texans follow at Wembley on October 18. That second game is a division game, so it counts for the AFC South race as well as the overall record.
After two weeks in London, the Jaguars have their bye in Week 7.
The kickoff is 2:30 PM in London for both games, as the UK is still on summer time until the last Sunday of October.
Paris, on the day Europe changes its clocks
The Steelers and Saints meet at the Stade de France, just north of Paris, on Sunday, October 25. That is the morning Europe moves its clocks back an hour, while the US keeps summer time until November 1. For that one week the gap between Paris and New York is five hours instead of six, so the 9:30 AM ET kickoff is 2:30 PM in Paris, not 3:30 PM. European readers who look up the kickoff on Saturday should look again on Sunday morning.
New Orleans is the home team, and the Saints' bye falls the following week, in Week 8.
Madrid and Munich in November
By November 8 the US has changed its clocks too, and the six-hour gap returns. The Bengals and Falcons play at the Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid, home of Real Madrid, with Atlanta as the designated home team. Kickoff is 9:30 AM ET, 3:30 PM in Spain.
A week later the Patriots and Lions are in Munich, at the stadium Bayern Munich plays in, again at 9:30 AM ET. Detroit is the home side. This is the only European game this season that ESPN lists on a broadcast network, Fox, rather than on NFL Network. That makes it the easiest of the morning games to find on ordinary US television.
Mexico City on a Sunday night
The last game abroad is the Vikings at the 49ers at Estadio Banorte, the stadium long known as the Azteca, on November 22. Unlike the European games, it is NBC's Sunday night game, starting at 8:20 PM ET, or 7:20 PM in Mexico City. Mexico dropped daylight saving time in 2022, so once the US falls back on November 1, Mexico City stays one hour behind New York.
It is San Francisco's second trip abroad this season. The 49ers were the visiting team in Melbourne in Week 1 and are the home team in Mexico City in Week 11. Their bye came earlier, in Week 8.
Watching the early games
A morning kickoff in Europe reshapes the US Sunday. The game is finished before the early afternoon kickoffs begin, so you can watch the European game and still catch the early slate in full. In California it is football with breakfast, at 6:30 AM. In the UK, Ireland and most of Europe, these are mid-afternoon games, the most convenient NFL kickoffs of the season.
On Buffstreams these games appear on the NFL page under their Sunday, first in the day's list because they start earliest. The time is printed in Eastern Time and your browser turns it into your own clock, so the Paris game shows the right local time whichever side of the clock change you are on. Click any of these games for its feed list; feeds tend to show up in the last 30 minutes before kickoff, so around 9:00 AM ET for the European games.
If you are planning around the international games, a few practical points:
- TV coverage starts with a pre-game show, so a listing may show an earlier time. The kickoff itself is at 9:30 AM ET.
- The Mexico City game is at altitude, more than 2,000 metres above sea level, which can slow players late in the game. It also means a later finish for European viewers: 8:20 PM ET is 1:20 AM in London.
- Bye weeks after these trips change the following week's schedule. Jacksonville misses Week 7 and New Orleans misses Week 8, so their fans get a Sunday off.
The rest of the schedule
The international games are only six of the 272 regular-season games, and the normal rhythm carries on around them: 8:15 PM ET on Thursday, the 1:00 PM ET early games and the 4:25 PM ET late games on Sunday (a few start at 4:05), then 8:20 PM ET on Sunday night and 8:15 PM ET on Monday. The NFL page lists the whole week, and the home page puts today's other sports beside it.
